The Israeli army orders residents of a specific building in the southern suburb of Beirut to evacuate it immediately

The Israeli army urged, early Wednesday morning, residents of a specific building in the southern suburb of Beirut to evacuate it immediately.

The Israeli army warned, in a post on the X social media platform, that it would strike Hezbollah targets there soon.

The post attached to a map stated, “A new urgent warning to the residents of the southern suburb, specifically those present in the building specified in the map and located in Haret Hreik.. You are present near facilities and interests affiliated with Hezbollah, which the IDF will work against in the near future.”

It continued, “For your safety and the safety of your family members, you must evacuate this building and the neighboring buildings immediately and stay away from them for a distance of no less than 500 meters.”

Later, after the warning, it was reported that columns of smoke were seen rising from the southern suburb of Beirut.

The smoke columns appear to have been caused by an Israeli strike on the building mentioned in the Israeli warni
ng.

This Israeli raid, which targeted a site in the southern suburb of Beirut, is the first to hit the suburb since Friday.

This comes at a time when the Israeli army continues to bomb a number of sites in southern Lebanon and the southern suburb of Beirut, while Hezbollah responds with missile and drone strikes on areas in northern Israel.
