Baghdad, Intelligence Agency detachments dismantled a drug trafficking network in Muthanna Governorate.
A statement by the Agency stated: “The detachments of the Directorate of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism in Muthanna and Dhi Qar Governorates, in cooperation with the Falcons Intelligence Cell operating within the Intelligence Agency, were able to dismantle a drug trafficking network within Muthanna Governorate, and arrested its members based on arrest warrants in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of drugs.
The statement explained: “The information indicates that this network has contributed significantly to the sale and promotion of drugs, and luring citizens to implicate them in drug use.”
