The 15th edition of the Arab Games was concluded in Algeria on Saturday evening, and the flag of the Federation of Arab National Olympic Committees was handed over to Saudi Arabia.

It was officially announced during the ceremony that Saudi Arabia will host the 16th edition of the Arab Games in 2027.

The final result, which ended yesterday evening, Friday, on the 11th day of the Arab Games, saw Algeria lead in the medals level.

Algeria topped the rankings with a total of 253 medals: 105 gold, 76 silver and 72 bronze, ahead of Tunisia, with a total of 121 medals: 23 gold, 47 silver and 51 bronze.

More than 1,200 athletes from 22 Arab countries participated in this tournament, which was launched on the fifth of July. They competed in 22 sporting events over a period of more than 10 days. / End
