Summer Quran Memorization Program Kicks Off in Shinas

Shinas: The annual summer Quran memorization program has commenced in the Wilayat of Shinas, organized by the Qurraa School for Quran Memorization at Al-Ghawabi Al-Shamali Mosque in cooperation with the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in North Al Batinah Governorate. As many as 209 students from various age groups are participating in the program, ranging from preparatory and kindergarten levels up to the 12th grade.

According to Oman News Agency, the program aims to cultivate a deep understanding of the Quran among young participants, helping them enhance their memorization skills over the summer break. The initiative provides an opportunity for students to engage in religious education and build a strong foundation in Islamic teachings. The program is structured to accommodate different learning levels, ensuring that each participant receives appropriate guidance and support.

The organizers have emphasized the importance of such programs in fostering a sense of community and promoting religious education. By involving students from a wide range of educational stages, the program seeks to instill a lifelong appreciation for the Quran and its teachings.
