Muscat:His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a congratulatory cable to President Lula da Silva following his re-election as the president of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

According to Oman News Agency, in the cable, His Majesty expressed his best wishes to President Lula da Silva, hoping for his continued success in leading the Brazilian people and achieving further accomplishments and aspirations.
