Muscat: At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the State Council is set to commence the deliberations of its third ordinary session of the eighth term next Sunday, 9 November 2025. This session aims to continue the Council’s national mission of supporting the comprehensive development march and institutionalizing work within the state’s legislative framework.
According to Oman News Agency, the opening session will feature a speech by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council. The agenda includes a discussion on the study by the Technology and Innovation Committee, focusing on “Data Management and Governance and Their Impact on the Digital Economy.” Additionally, several reports submitted by the Council members will be reviewed.
The session will conclude with the General Secretariat’s report on the activities of the Council’s bodies, providing a comprehensive overview of their work and contributions.
