State Council Office Discusses Studies on Demographics, Agricultural Sector

Muscat: The Office of the State Council convened its 6th meeting of the third regular session of the 8th term, with Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili presiding as Chairman. The discussions focused on significant studies addressing key issues in Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting involved a comprehensive examination of a study submitted by the Special Committee, titled "Demographics and its Impact on the Future of Development in the Sultanate of Oman." This study aims to provide insights into how demographic trends might influence the nation's development trajectory.

Additionally, the Office evaluated another study from the Special Committee on "The Agricultural (Plant) Sector in the Sultanate of Oman: Challenges and Solutions." This study seeks to identify the challenges faced by the agricultural sector and propose viable solutions to enhance its growth and sustainability.

Concluding the meeting, the Office finalized the agenda items for the tenth session of the third regular session of the eighth term, outlining the topics to be discussed in future deliberations.
