A security source stated that units of the army, police, and emergency regiments deployed from the beginning of Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital towards the presidential palaces, and blocked the roads leading to the palaces, which are based in units of the Popular Mobilization Forces.

The source did not mention the reasons that led to the spread of the security forces.
