Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) today celebrated the graduation of a new batch of recruits at the military parade ground at Ghala Base as well as at the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy. The ceremony was attended by Retired Major General Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Manthri and Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the event included a series of military displays. The graduates participated in chanting the anthem of the Royal Air Force of Oman, took an oath of loyalty, pledged allegiance, and proclaimed 'Long live His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander' thrice.

The ceremony also recognized outstanding performers among the graduates. Recruit Ali Mohammed Belhaf secured first place overall for the course. Recruit Munthir Musabih Al Ghamlasi was awarded top honors in military drill, while Recruit Mohammed Nasser Al Adawi earned first place in light weapons marksmanship.
