Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today received a telephone call from King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the call, they discussed a number of recent developments and issues of mutual concern on both the regional and international arenas. The two leaders exchanged views on ways to enhance security and stability in the region.

According to Oman News Agency, the conversation also touched upon the deep-rooted fraternal relations binding the two countries and their peoples, as well as ways to develop them across various sectors in a manner that serves shared interests and common aspirations.
