Riyada Launches Future Entrepreneurs 2026 Camp in Oman

Muscat: The SMEs Development Authority 'Riyada', in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, has initiated the 'Future Entrepreneurs 2026' camp program in various governorates throughout the Sultanate of Oman. The program targets students in grades seven, eight, and nine to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth, aiming to enhance their future skills.

According to Oman News Agency, the first phase of the program was launched in the Musandam Governorate, engaging 63 male and female students. The camp focuses on developing entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, familiarizing students with the fundamentals of startups, and enabling them to transform their ideas into viable projects. This is achieved through a series of training workshops and interactive activities that blend learning with practical application.

The program spans five days in each governorate, encompassing various pillars that emphasize personal and leadership skill development, teamwork, and the enhancement of problem-solving and innovation capabilities. It introduces students to entrepreneurship concepts and mechanisms for developing ideas into future opportunities and projects.

Conducted during the summer period, the camp is held across different governorates and features expert trainers and specialists. This creates a stimulating educational environment that supports students in discovering their potential and refining their entrepreneurial skills early on.

The implementation of the 'Future Entrepreneurs 2026' camp is part of Riyada's broader programs and initiatives to encourage self-employment and innovation among younger generations. This effort aligns with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, aiming to prepare a capable generation that can contribute to an economy driven by knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
