Madrid: Real Madrid have confirmed that French international striker Kylian Mbapp© sustained a muscular injury to his left thigh during the team's 1-1 draw with Real Betis. Mbapp© was forced off the pitch in the closing minutes after experiencing sharp pain.

According to Oman News Agency, the club's medical staff have diagnosed a semimembranosus injury - one of the hamstring muscles running along the thigh - in the left leg of the France captain. No timeframe has yet been given for his absence.
