The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack on the Noble Qur’an and summoned the Swedish Ambassador.

The Ministry said in a statement that the State of Qatar expresses its strong dissatisfaction and denunciation of the repeated permission to attack the Holy Qur’an in Sweden and the failure of the authorities there to stop these practices that express hatred and religious discrimination, despite the condemnation of Arab Islamic countries for these practices and the issuance of the Human Rights Council resolution condemning this act.

The statement added, after the repetition of these practices, the State of Qatar announces the summoning of the Swedish Ambassador to hand over a protest note that includes a request for Sweden to take deterrent measures against this act./ End
