Doha:Muscat Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, has met with Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This meeting occurred as part of the Undersecretary's official visit to Vietnam.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was an opportunity for Sheikh Khalifa to convey greetings from the Foreign Minister and express Oman's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Vietnam. He highlighted the desire to enhance existing cooperation between the two nations.

Sheikh Khalifa praised Vietnam's decision to establish an embassy in Muscat, viewing it as a crucial step toward bolstering bilateral relations and expanding cooperation. The Vietnamese Foreign Minister, Le Hoai Trung, stressed the significance of continuing visits at various levels to further solidify bilateral ties and broaden joint collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, along with several officials from the Foreign Ministries of both countries.
