The procedure involved the partial removal of a patient's kidney and the excision of a renal tumor, while preserving healthy tissues.

According to Oman News Agency, this achievement aligns with the Medical City's commitment to advancing health services and embracing cutting-edge medical technologies, in step with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

The Da Vinci system is renowned for its precise robotic surgical instruments and high-definition 3D vision. It incorporates advanced techniques for controlling instrument movement, enhancing surgical accuracy, minimizing surgical intervention, reducing blood loss, and facilitating patient recovery.
