Jeddah: Sayyid Najib Hilal Al Busaidi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today presented his credentials as the Sultanate of Oman’s Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
According to Oman News Agency, Sayyid Najib presented his credentials in Jeddah during a reception held by Samir Bakr Diab, OIC’s Assistant Secretary General for Palestine and Al-Quds, who is currently undertaking the tasks of the OIC Secretary-General. The credential presentation marks a significant step in strengthening the relationship between Oman and the OIC.
The meeting also focused on discussing ways to consolidate relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Topics of common interest were also on the agenda, aiming to enhance cooperation and collaboration on various fronts.
The event was attended by Salim Mohammed Al Busaidi, Consul-General of the Sultanate of Oman in Jeddah, and Saif Said Al Shammali, Deputy Head of the Mission, highlighting the diplomatic engagement and importance of the occasion.
