Muscat:Dr. Khamis Saif Al Jabri, Minister of Economy, welcomed representatives from the Oman Trade Office in the United States, affiliated with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during their visit to Oman. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the Office's key achievements and future plans, discussing opportunities and challenges, and exploring ways to enhance joint cooperation to achieve the Office's objectives. The discussions aimed at strengthening mutual economic and investment partnerships, with a particular focus on supporting Omani exports to the American market and attracting American investments to Oman. Additionally, the talks included developing areas of trade cooperation between the two countries. The trade volume between Oman and the United States reached approximately RO 555.26 million by the end of July 2026. Notable exports from Oman to the US include chemicals and aluminium, while imports from the US to Oman primarily consist of vehicles and means of tran sport.
