Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman will host the third Asian Arabic Debating Championship from 28 October to 1 November 2025, with participation from over 145 competitors representing 40 educational institutions from 18 countries. This was announced during a press conference held in Muscat by the organizing entities of the championship, namely the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth; Oman Debates Center; and Qatar Debates Center.
According to Oman News Agency, the championship aims to promote Arabic language and debating skills among youth across Asia. The event will feature a series of debates focused on critical topics, providing a platform for young debaters to engage and exchange ideas. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth emphasized the significance of hosting the event, highlighting its role in fostering cultural exchange and intellectual development.
