Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman will host the third Asian Arabic Debating Championship from 28 October to 1 November 2025, with participation from over 145 competitors representing 40 educational institutions from 18 countries. This was announced during a press conference held in Muscat by the organizing entities of the championship, namely the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth; Oman Debates Center; and Qatar Debates Center.

According to Oman News Agency, the championship aims to promote Arabic language and debating skills among youth across Asia. The event will feature a series of debates focused on critical topics, providing a platform for young debaters to engage and exchange ideas.
