According to Oman News Agency, the Sultanate of Oman is represented by a pavilion featuring publications from various national entities, including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and the National Records and Archives Authority. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism aims to foster cooperation and integrate efforts among institutions supporting Oman's cultural and tourism presence in global forums.
Naseem bint Abdullah Al Balushi, Supervisor of the Book Fairs Section at the Department of the 'Journal of Oman Studies', highlighted that the Ministry is presenting more than 50 significant titles showcasing Omani heritage from the past five years. These include research studies and books on cultural, natural, archaeological, and geological heritage published by the Ministry.
The recent publications feature the 26th edition of the 'Journal of Oman Studies', marking its golden jubilee since its inception in 1975. The Ministry's display also includes Issue No. 2 of 'Athar Bulletin', reporting on archaeological surveys and excavations in Oman, and Book No. 15 of the Omani Archaeological Heritage Series, detailing trilithic stones in ancient Bedouin regions of south-eastern Arabia.
