Kuwait city: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, took part in the closing ceremony of "Kuwait: Capital of Arab Culture and Media 2025". The event was held at the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre and was under the patronage of Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.
According to Oman News Agency, the Sultanate of Oman's delegation was led by Sayyid Saud Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth. The participation is part of efforts to strengthen cultural ties among Arab nations and highlights the importance of joint action in supporting the Arab cultural movement. It also emphasizes the role of culture in building bridges of communication between peoples.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth met with Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties.
This participation demonstrates the Ministry's commitment to expanding partnerships with regional and international institutions. It aims to strengthen the Sultanate of Oman's presence in the Arab cultural landscape and supports efforts towards cultural integration among nations.
