Nouakchott: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Environment Authority, joined the 26th meeting of the Technical Committee for Environment, associated with the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs. This significant gathering is taking place in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting acts as a preparatory platform for the upcoming 36th meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers and Heads of Environmental Authorities. Delegations from member states, along with regional and international organizations involved in environmental affairs, are partaking in the discussions.
The agenda of the meeting includes following up on the implementation of decisions from the Council’s prior sessions and evaluating joint Arab initiatives related to environmental protection and sustainable development.
