The Board of Directors of Oman Equestrian Federation (OEF) held its first meeting after its restructuring under the leadership of Sayyid Munthir Saif Al Busaidi, Chairman of OEF Board of Directors.

The meeting made a brief account of the functions, powers and competencies of the OEF Board of Directors, the formation of supervisory and executive committees and the OEF Internal Regulation. This was followed by a visual presentation on the most prominent achievements of the OEF during the past season.

The Board also looked into challenges posed to the federation in horse racing. It exchanged views about ways to develop the sport, means of its endorsement by international organizations and the schedule of events and races during the next season 2023/2024.

The members of OEF Board approved a model plan for marketing and media in the field of equestrian sports, with a view to upgrading the sports in a manner that responds to the aspirations of owners of horse racing clubs and interested parties.
