Oman Engages in Climate Action Talks at Summit in Brazil

Bel©m: The Sultanate of Oman today participated in the World Leaders Climate Action Summit in Bel©m, Brazil, focusing on urgent strategies to mitigate global warming.

According to Oman News Agency, the summit served as a precursor to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), set to commence on 10 November 2025, with representatives from 200 countries. Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority, led Oman’s delegation at the summit.

During the discussions, Oman reiterated its commitment to advancing global efforts in climate change control and shared its plan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
