Oman Commemorates Prophet’s Hijra Anniversary

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, today commemorated the anniversary of the Blessed Prophet's Hijra.

According to Oman News Agency, the celebration was held under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Talib Al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Public Services Regulation. The event was attended by Ahmed Saleh Al Rashdi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, along with a number of officials and esteemed dignitaries.

The ceremony, which took place at the Arab Open University in the Wilayat of A'Seeb, featured a number of segments that reflect the significance of the Prophet's Hijra. These included a devotional hymn expressing the enduring significance of this occasion, a poetic recitation, and a documentary film presentation detailing the Blessed Hijra from Makkah Al Mukarramah to Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, along with the lessons and insights derived from this historic event.
