Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Spain convened the fourth round of political consultation sessions in Muscat. The meeting, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, was chaired on the Omani side by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, and on the Spanish side by Diego Martínez Belío, State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs. According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in various sectors, including trade exchanges, investment, energy, and culture. Both nations expressed their commitment to further develop these areas of partnership. Additionally, the session provided a platform for exchanging views on regional matters and recent developments on the international stage. Among the attendees were Ambassador Munthir Mahfoudh Al Manthri, Head of the Europe Department, Francisco Javier deIsturiz, Ambassador of Spain to Oman, and several other officials from both countries.
