Muscat: Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), held a meeting today with Nurlan Zhakupov, CEO of the Kazakh sovereign wealth fund 'Samruk-Kazyna,' who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for economic and investment cooperation.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on reviewing available capabilities and investment prospects, with both parties affirming their mutual commitment to co-investing in promising projects and existing enterprises. This commitment aligns with the strategic priorities of both the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting also explored ways to strengthen the partnership and expand areas of collaboration to serve the mutual interests of the two countries.
