Muscat: Oil prices rose slightly today after falling during the past four sessions. Brent crude futures increased by 42 cents, or 0.61 percent, reaching $69.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 40 cents, or 0.6 percent, settling at $66.71 a barrel.
According to Oman News Agency, the rise comes after Brent crude experienced a significant drop of 6.5 percent over the previous four sessions, hitting its lowest level since December 2021. Similarly, WTI saw a decline of 5.8 percent during the same period, reaching its lowest point since May 2023.
