Muscat: The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) today organized an exhibition and a symposium on the history of Al Busaidi State. The joint events were held under the auspices of Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, in the presence of a select group of researchers and academics specialized in Omani history.

According to Oman News Agency, the symposium included two academic sessions that discussed core themes related to the development of Al Busaidi State, the Omani peace policies, and the country’s ongoing modern renaissance. The discussions aimed to shed light on the historical significance and influence of the Al Busaidi State in shaping the region’s history.

The chief guest toured the exhibition, which showcased 36 photographs that documented milestones in the national history and reflected the cultural and political features that set Oman apart throughout the ages. The exhibition highlighted the unique aspects of Oman’s history and its contributions to regional stability and progress.
