National Digital Economy Program Committee Reviews Initiatives for 2026-2030

Muscat: The Technical Committee for the National Digital Economy Program convened its 2025 meeting today, led by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on evaluating the performance and achievements of the Program over the past period. It also discussed proposed initiatives and targets for the National Digital Economy Program for the upcoming period from 2026 to 2030. These efforts aim to meet the Sultanate of Oman’s goals in the digital economy sector and to bolster its competitiveness on both regional and global scales.

The meeting underscored the crucial role of collaboration among all units of the State’s administrative apparatus to successfully implement the objectives and executive programs of the National Digital Economy Program.
