Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading session at 5,544.30 points, registering a drop of 21.6 points, equivalent to 0.39 percent, from its previous close of 5,565.87 points.

According to Oman News Agency, trading activity witnessed a decline, with total market turnover reaching RO 30,642,459. This represents a decrease of 19.3 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 25,692,878. Overall market capitalization decreased by 0.061 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately RO 31.33 billion.

Non-Omani investor purchases totaled RO 3,333,000, accounting for 10.88 percent of total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 989,000, representing 3.23 percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign investment of RO 2,343,000, equivalent to a 7.65 percent decline in foreign net investment activity.
