Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained 16.2 points, comprising a rise of 0.37% to close at 4452.25 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4436.01 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 6,184,916, indicating a rise of 20.6% compared to the last session, which recorded a value of RO 5,130,271. The report released by MSX highlighted that the market value increased by 0.075%, reaching approximately RO 27.75 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 453,000, comprising 7.32% of the trading value. Conversely, the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors was RO 772,000, accounting for 12.49% of the trading value. The net non-Omani investment increased by 5.17% to RO 320,000.
