South Al Batinah: The Directorate General of Education in South Al Batinah Governorate today held a ceremony to honor outstanding students in the Quran Competition for the 2024/2025 academic year, as part of its efforts to nurture students and instill religious and educational values.
According to Oman News Agency, the event featured various segments, including melodious recitations of the Holy Quran by top-performing students, a presentation of the competition’s message, and a visual film highlighting the contest’s objectives and stages. Additionally, choral performances showcased the impact of Quran memorization on young lives.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Eng. Ibrahim Said Al Kharousi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Heritage, the chief guest, honored 176 high-achieving students who secured top positions, along with several schools, supervising teachers, and members of the organizing committee.
