MSX Gains 29 Points

Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed at 4,799.87 points, marking a rise of 29.4 points (0.62%) from the previous session’s close of 4,770.45 points. Trading activities showcased a significant increase in investor participation and confidence in the market.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value reached RO 34,559,970, reflecting an 88.7% surge compared to the last session’s RO 18,314,195. This increase in trading value underscores heightened market activity and interest from investors.

The MSX report indicated that market value saw an increase of 0.231%, settling at approximately RO 29.17 billion. This growth in market value highlights a positive trend in the stock exchange’s performance.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 2,349,000, accounting for 6.80% of the total trading volume, while sales by foreign investors reached RO 717,000, or 2.08%. Net foreign investment experienced an increase of RO 1,632,000, representing 4.72%, suggesting a robust participation of international investors in the market dynamics.
