Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed at 4,565 points, gaining 15 points (0.33%) from the previous session’s close of 4,549.98 points.

According to Oman News Agency, trading value decreased to RO 9,885,581, reflecting a 23.2% drop compared to the last session’s RO 12,869,516. The MSX report indicated that market capitalization saw a drop of 0.081%, settling at approximately RO 28.36 billion.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 103,000, accounting for 1.04% of the total trading volume. Meanwhile, sales by foreign investors reached RO 911,000, representing 9.22% of the trading volume. As a result, net foreign investment decreased by RO 808 thousand, which corresponds to an 8.18% drop.
