MSX 30 Index Rises by 32 Points Amid Decreased Trading Value

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index concluded today's trading session at 8212.04 points, gaining 32.8 points, which constitutes a rise by 0.40 percent from the previous close of 8,179.21 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value saw a decline to RO 67,714,570, marking a 5.8 percent decrease compared to the prior session's RO 71,908,711. Despite the increase in the index, market capitalization experienced a downturn, decreasing by 0.338 percent relative to the last trading day and reaching approximately RO 38.09 billion.

Non-Omani investors were active in today's session, with purchases totaling RO 8,140,000, which accounted for 12.02 percent of the overall trading activity. On the other hand, sales by non-Omani investors amounted to RO 6,780,000, representing 10.01 percent. This led to a net increase in non-Omani investment by RO 1,360,000, or 2.01 percent.
