Muscat: Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, received Hassan Ali Habib, First Deputy President of the High Council of State of Libya, at his office today. The visit marks an effort to enhance bilateral relations between Oman and Libya, with Habib leading a delegation to the Sultanate.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting covered the growing cooperation between Oman and Libya in various fields. The discussions highlighted ways to strengthen collaboration and exchange expertise in sectors such as aviation, ports, transport safety, and digital transformation. Both parties expressed a keen interest in furthering mutual interests and exploring new areas of partnership.
