Muscat: Microsoft announced the rollout of new AI-powered features for all Copilot users, offering free, unlimited access to Voice and Think Deeper, powered by OpenAIs o1 model.

According to Oman News Agency, the Copilot Team revealed that Voice now supports longer conversations, while Think Deeper is designed to tackle more challenging questions. These enhancements aim to expand the utility of Copilot in users’ daily tasks.

Voice allows users to engage in various activities such as learning simple phrases in a new language, conducting mock interviews for job applications, or receiving hands-free cooking advice for new recipes. This feature aims to provide practical support in everyday scenarios through conversational AI.

Think Deeper, on the other hand, is targeted at assisting with more complex decision-making processes. It can help users with significant tasks like making big purchases, evaluating home renovation values, or strategizing career moves, offering deeper insights through AI capabilities.

While these features are accessible to all users, Copilot Pro subscribers will continue to enjoy preferred access to the latest models during peak usage times. They will also receive early access to experimental AI features, details of which are expected to be announced soon. Additionally, Pro users have enhanced integration of Copilot in select Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
