The security forces in Maysan arrested one of the accused in a murder that occurred in Al-Shaab area in the capital, Baghdad.

The Maysan Police Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The accused is wanted by the investigative authorities in Baghdad Governorate in accordance with the provisions of Article (406) of the Penal Code for committing a murder against a citizen of Al-Shaab neighborhood area, and he has been arrested in Al-Majar Al-Kabir District, south of Maysan Governorate.

It added: “The security forces took the accused to the investigation center to complete the necessary procedures.”
