The Security Units of the Maysan Operations Command carried out a security duty in Al-Majar Al-Kabir district, south of the governorate, in order to limit weapons to the state and pursue those wanted by the judiciary.

The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: "A force from the second regiment, the 97th Infantry Brigade affiliated with the Operations Command, carried out a raid and search operation, which resulted in the confiscation of various weapons and equipment, and they were duly handed over."
