JAF and National Library Collaborate on Archival Enhancement

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army and the Department of the National Library have entered into a memorandum of understanding aimed at boosting cooperation in documentation, archiving, and scientific research.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was formalized at the JAF General Command, with Brigadier General Mustafa Abdul Halim al-Hiyari, Director of Military Media, and Firras Darabah, Director General of the Department of the National Library, signing the document. The partnership seeks to exchange expertise in preserving historical documents and manuscripts, aligning with the strategic objectives of both entities.

The military emphasized that this initiative is part of its broader commitment to strengthening collaborations with national organizations. The goal is to safeguard Jordan's national heritage and modernize existing archival systems to ensure better preservation of historical records.
