Israeli police demolish a house in Umm al-Fahm

On Tuesday, Israeli authorities’ vehicles and bulldozers, under the protection of police forces, demolished a house under construction in the Ain Ibrahim neighborhood in the city of Umm al-Fahm, claiming it was built without a permit.

Demolition vehicles stormed the Ain Ibrahim neighborhood, under heavy police guard and its special units. They secured the demolition process and prevented residents from approaching the place. The police also closed the street leading to the house.

During the past months, the Ain Ibrahim neighborhood witnessed various demolition operations of walls and houses under construction, in addition to farms and livestock barns.

The Ain Ibrahim neighborhood belongs to the municipality of Umm al-Fahm, and is located in the area that is considered part of the displaced Al-Rawha lands, while the Israeli authorities are tightening their grip on these areas, to prevent the residents from expanding due to the importance of the place.
