At least 16 Palestinian civilians were brutally murdered and several others were injured in the early hours of this morning, as Israeli airstrikes targeted residential squares in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and in the Al-Bureij refugee camp, in the center of the territory, according to local and medical reports. The first attack occurred in Al-Bureij refugee camp, located in the central Gaza Strip, where an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building. Seven civilians were confirmed murdered, with additional injuries reported. Among the victims were innocent children and women. The strike left the targeted house in ruins, and rescue teams are working tirelessly to recover any survivors trapped under the debris. Shortly thereafter, another Israeli airstrike hit a house in the Al-Jenena neighborhood, east of Rafah in southern Gaza. The strike resulted in the murder of at least nine Palestinians, with more casualties expected as rescue efforts are ongoing. Reports indicate that the nine victims were from a neighboring house that also suffered severe damage. Meanwhile, in eastern Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelling bombed several homes, claiming the lives of many civilians and injuring others. In yet another attack, Israeli warplanes targeted a house in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in additional casualties and injuries among Palestinian civilians. The persisting Israeli airstrikes have plunged Gaza into a humanitarian crisis, with rescue teams facing challenges in accessing affected areas due to the intensity of the attacks. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" today condemned Britain's intention to have its army participate in the war launched by Israel against the Gaza Strip. The movement said in a statement reported by 'Russia': 'The movement believes that Britain's disclosure of its army carrying out intelligence flights over the Gaza Strip makes it a partner with the Zionist occupation in its crimes, and responsible for the massacres to which our Palestinian people are subjected.' The statement added: 'Britain should have corrected its historical position that was offensive to our people, and atone for the Balfour Declaration, which is the sin of the century, instead of committing another sin and reminding the world of its shameful colonial past, and thus the British government would place itself at enmity with our people and all the free people of the world who reject Zionist aggression on Gaza.' Hamas called on Britain to 'rescind its direct participation and political and financial support for the war of genocide a gainst Gaza, and to stop its dependence on the United States of America and its contribution to igniting wars, instead of contributing to peace and stability in the region.' Earlier, the British Ministry of Defense announced that "the British Army will conduct reconnaissance flights over the Gaza Strip to help locate hostages held by Hamas." The Ministry confirmed in a statement that "the surveillance aircraft will be unarmed, and will not have any combat role, and its mission will only be to determine the location of the hostages," noting that "information related to rescuing the hostages will only be passed to the concerned authorities responsible for rescuing the hostages."
