Iraq and Turkey discuss opening advanced international schools

Baghdad - The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, and the Turkish Ambassador, Ali Reza Konay, discussed today, Monday, the opening of advanced international schools.

The Ministry of Education’s media office said in a statement, “Minister of Education Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri met with the Turkish Ambassador Ali Reza Konai and his accompanying delegation, and the educational paths for Iraqi schools in Turkey and the needs of the students studying there were discussed, along with developing a modern strategy that enables Iraq to open scientifically advanced international schools.”

He added: “The meeting was fruitful on both the internal and external levels, through the topics that were raised aimed at strengthening and consolidating relations between the two countries as required by the scientific, cultural and educational priority, in addition to discussing scholarships for developing the aspect of creativity and innovation.”/ End
