Gaza City: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bombed Beit Lahya in the northern Gaza Strip and Nuseirat refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip today, murdering and injuring many Palestinian civilians.
According to Oman News Agency, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted two houses near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahya, leading to multiple casualties among Palestinian civilians. A child, initially injured in the attacks, succumbed to his injuries after being transferred to Al-Maamadani Hospital.
In another incident, the IOF bombed the Saftawi area, north of Gaza City, resulting in the death of a Palestinian and injuries to several others. Additionally, an Israeli drone strike on two houses belonging to the Al-Nabahin and Qaddoha families in Nuseirat led to the death of three Palestinian civilians.
Further strikes targeted the vicinity of Karameesh park, also in Nuseirat, where several civilians were injured. The IOF reportedly targeted an individual directly in this area, causing further
injuries.
Medical sources indicated severe damage following an IOF bombing at a house in Qizan Rashwan, south of Khan Younis, wounding numerous civilians. The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed the evacuation of 30 wounded and sick individuals, along with 33 companions, from Kamal Adwan Hospital to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. This operation was conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization. Furthermore, 14 patients were transferred from Al-Shifa Hospital to Nasser Medical Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.
The ongoing violence has resulted in the death of over 43,341 Palestinian civilians and injuries to more than 102,105 others since the escalation of hostilities in October 2023. Many victims remain trapped under debris as rescue operations continue amid challenging conditions.
The Gaza Strip and surrounding areas are facing a severe humanitarian crisis due to the continuous aggression by Israeli forces. This has led to catastrophic health conditions exacerbated by attac
ks on medical facilities and infrastructure, along with restrictions on the delivery of medical supplies and humanitarian aid. These actions have been widely criticized for violating international humanitarian laws and conventions.
