Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, welcomed Mohsin Naqvi, the Federal Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for a pivotal meeting today. The discussions centered around reviewing and enhancing bilateral cooperation, as well as addressing mutual interests aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two nations.
According to Oman News Agency, both ministers emphasized the significance of mutual coordination and consultation during their talks. The meeting was a step forward in fostering deeper collaboration, with the ministers agreeing on the importance of strategic dialogue to address shared goals and challenges.
The meeting was attended by notable figures including Maj. Gen Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, Eng. Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman, along with several officials from both sides.
