The Diyala Police Command executed 97 judicial orders against persons wanted by the judiciary in the governorate during the past twenty-four hours.

The Media Spokesman for the Police Command, Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that joint forces, through night security practices to enhance the security and stability of Diyala, which were carried out in separate areas within the governorate, resulted in the arrest of 96 defendants and one wanted person in accordance with the anti-terrorism law.

He added that security practices also resulted in the seizure of 4 vehicles in violation of the controls and instructions of the Ministry of Interior.
