Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Republic of Belarus this Monday.
According to Oman News Agency, a statement was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court announcing the visit. The statement notes that the visit is in response to an invitation from President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus and will take place from October 6 to 7, 2025.
The primary aim of the visit is to strengthen and broaden the cooperative relations between Oman and Belarus to align with the aspirations of both nations. The discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation in various sectors to serve mutual interests.
During the visit, the leaders of Oman and Belarus will also exchange views on current regional and international issues. His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation that includes key figures such as HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, among others.
The statement concludes with a prayer for the Sultan’s protection and well-being during his travels.
