Asmara: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a written message to President Isaias Afwerki of the State of Eritrea. The message focuses on the relations between Oman and Eritrea and discusses means of enhancing cooperation in various fields.

According to Oman News Agency, the message was delivered by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, during a meeting with the Eritrean President in the capital city, Asmara. During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to President Afwerki, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for the President’s good health and happiness. His Majesty also expressed wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Eritrean people.

In response, President Afwerki requested Sayyid Badr to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.
