Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Ilham HeydarAliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan on his country’s National Day. In his message, His Majesty expressed his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes for President Aliyev’s success in achieving further accomplishments and aspirations that serve the interests of Azerbaijan’s people. His Majesty also conveyed hopes for further progress and growth in bilateral relations across all spheres.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty also sent a similar cable of greetings to President Taye Atske Selassie of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on the occasion of Ethiopia’s National Day. In the cable, His Majesty wished for continuous stability and growth for the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
