Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases.

According to Oman News Agency, the pardon includes 247 citizens and foreign prisoners, as stated by an official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

The Royal pardon of His Majesty the Supreme Commander coincides with the glorious National Day 2025. It also considers the families of the prisoners.
